I grew up in a small town in Michigan. Actually, we moved a lot and I went to 4 different schools, so it wasn't always easy.
I played a lot of sports, but I was also first chair clarinet. I was neither cool nor not cool. Just floating in the middle.

I left my small town right after graduation and played collegiate volleyball. What an incredible experience.

Next, I followed my wanderlust heart to Switzerland where I was an Au Pair and got to learn French and German.

My story

Next stop? Dubai! I moved there in my early 20's and lived and worked next to the tallest tower in the world in a city RIPE with cultural cliche's. 

I kept following my dreams and wherever the wind was leading, and that brought me to apprentice with a professional photographer in Atlanta. I learned everything I needed about portrait to propel myself into a career as a full time pro myself.

Which brought me to Vail... my business grew, I was endlessly in awe of and in love with the mountains, and this quickly became my forever home.
